Big and Shady – But,

This is a big umbrella check your location you might be happier with something a little smaller. It’s heavy and while it has a rope and pully to erect it takes two people. Nicer umbrellas have a little block and tackle to make this easier. This one has a single pass pully. Things that are alkward are that there is no cleat to tie the umbrella rope off to. A pin actually holds the umbrella open and so you have to keep tension on the rope and reach pretty high to put the pin in place best done by a tall person particularly if its centered in a table. I’ll probably find a cleat at the home center. This is shade but not weather protection. We tried sitting under it last night in a mild rain and discovered the water pretty quickly worked its way through the material which isn’t canvas – soon it was raining half as hard under the umbrella as it was outside of the umbrella. I’ll probably try spraying with something. Appearance and quality are perfectly acceptable.

Big Enough,
This umbrella is big enough for our grill area. It’s not water proof. Could be a little more sturdy where the pole screws together. All in all we would buy it again.

Biggest POS I have ever purchased over the internet.,
Horrible item. Very poor quality. This umbrella probably would not hold up even inside your house. I had to add screws and tighten up many areas just to get it to stand up correctly. Pin to hold umbrella open is so high up on the pole you need a ladder to put it in. Seller did offer to take it back but I would have to pay the shipping. Not worth another 28.00 spent on this thing. All wood bent or cracking, watch size screws falling out after 2 days of use. Seller should take a look at one of these and offer a fair description before selling this item. INSIDE USE ONLY
